Carmen Kass Sold Her Place
15 Jan 2007

Carmen Kass is looking for a new place to strut her lanky frame, now that she’s sold her Greenwich Village loft.
The Estonian stunner has unloaded her five-room co-op apartment in a doorman building on Mercer Street for $1.6 million
Included in the three-bedroom, two-bath prewar residence, which measures 1,700 square feet, are three wood-burning fireplaces and three exposures. And it’s not far from Butter, the hot spot where she’s a partner.
Kass, 28, was discovered in a supermarket at 14, and became Vogue’s Model of the Year in 2000. She’s been a Chanel, Versace and Armani model as well as a businesswoman (she’s reportedly Estonia’s richest woman) and formidable chess player.
