But I learned an important lesson from this interview. It is wrong to speak to your children in a vulgar manner while a tape recorder may be operating. After all, so many sympathetic friends of Alec have said how glad they were that they were not recorded whilst speaking to their kids (what sort of friends does he have?). That aside, I do feel that a very deep and heartfelt apology was eloquently expressed by Barbara and Rosie. Alec did chime in with an apology of his own after the commercial break. I was particularly moved by Alec tearing up during his explanation of the finer points of California divorce law. After I lost count of the number of times he touched Barbara and Rosie’s knees I felt I needed to spray down my TV with disinfectant and take a shower. They can't care less about the kid. She is just a way to make the other parents life hell. She is a puppet. Alec didn't scream, because the child didn't answer the phone, he screamed because Alec know that Kim Basinger didn't let the kid answer the phone. So basically Alec yelled at Kim though the child.
